Alien Raiders (2008)

Alien Raiders is a American Sci Fi horror film released in 2008. Starring Carlos Bernard, Rockmond Dunbar and Mathew St. Patrick, the film is Ben Rock's first feature film as a director. The film was produced by Daniel Myrick, John Shiban, and Tony Krantz, and was released by Warner Home Video and Raw Feed in September 2008.

Twilight (2008)

Twilight is a 2008 American romantic-fantasy film directed by Catherine Hardwicke and based on the novel of the same name by Stephenie Meyer. The film stars Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan, a teenage girl who falls in love with vampire Edward Cullen, portrayed by Robert Pattinson. The project was in development for approximately three years at Paramount Pictures before it was put into pre-production by Summit Entertainment. The novel was adapted for the screen by Melissa Rosenberg in late 2007, shortly before the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike. The film was primarily shot in Washington and Oregon in early 2008. Twilight was released in theaters on November 21, 2008, and grossed $35.7 million on its opening day. The soundtrack was released on November 4, 2008.

Punisher: War Zone is a 2008 comic book film based on the fictional Marvel Comics vigilante and antihero the Punisher. The film is a reboot rather than a sequel to 2004's The Punisher, and is the first film to be produced under the Marvel Knights production banner, which will focus on films for mature audiences. British actor Ray Stevenson replaces Thomas Jane as Frank Castle. In the film, Castle wages a one-man war against a horribly disfigured mob boss known as Jigsaw (Dominic West). Punisher: War Zone was released in North America by Lionsgate on December 5, 2008.

Day of the Dead is a horror film which is nominally a quasi-remake of George A. Romero's classic zombie film of the same name, which was the third in Romero's Dead series.
